Choices Clip Chart

Off the Board- Student earns a jewel on their clip and gets to use a Smencil the following day

Pink - Outstanding Choices- Student receives a smelly sticker

Purple- Great Choices 

Blue- Good Choices

Green - Ready to Learn

Yellow - Think About It

Orange - Teacher Choice (missed recess ect.)

Red - Office/Parent Contact

*Each child begins the day on GREEN, and moves up or down the chart depending on his/her behavior. At the end of the day if they are on green or above they will earn a punch in their reward card. Once they earn 20 they will receive a prize. A calendar will be in their folders and it will be colored in daily according to the color that earned on the chart. Please initial and discuss this with your child each day.

 

Spelling

We will have a weekly spelling test on Friday of each week. I will post their weekly words in the newsletter and they will also bring a copy home each week. Practice the spelling words each evening with your child. They can write them on paper, write them with markers and trace over them with other colors, make them out of play dough, trace them in salt or shaving cream. Be creative with their spelling word practice!

Snack

We will have a daily snack after our morning recess. Please send a snack with your child each day!

Supply List

2 plastic 3 ring binders- 1 inch only

-backpack

-Bic highlighter

-24 plain No.2 pencils (all pencils are collected and shared)

-Eraser- pink or green

-plastic pencil box (8x5)

-4plastic pocket folders (red, green, blue, yellow)

-1 pack of expo dry erase markers (black only)

-3 boxes of Kleenex

-1 spiral notebook

-

-Headphones (no ear buds)

-2 containers of Clorox wipes

-1 pump bottle or hand sanitizer

ART SUPPLIES:

-Box of crayons or twistables

-1 set of Crayola water color paints

-1 set of markers (wide and fine)

-Pointed scissors

-2 glue bottles

-6 glue sticks
